Silent Words of Peace

Try out a day to say what you mean, without speaking a word, or discussing opinions of things.

Letting just what it is that you are shine through.

And if what you see, you know is not good, then silently carry your OWN water, and chop your OWN wood.

Nourish as you build for the best, so that it can be, that you are what you do, reflecting light for others to see.

  1. Hi Baron, I was thinking of you tonight because I also blog, and a friend of my texted me out of the blue in appreciation of my inspiration, so I wanted to pay it forward. I remember your post “When Ripples Collide.” It was the first blog post I had ever read, and it moved me to tears. As a matter of fact, I teach high school English, and I’ve used that post as a writing prompt for years. My students have written about their own ripples, and I wanted you to know that even years later, your ripples are still colliding.

  2. Beautifully said and gives me much to think about. I’ve been a fan since your days playing with the Steelers, and this is by far my favorite piece of your work. I’ll be looking for this one to go up for sale on the website. 🙂
